My hair stylist education has been rooted in the French style of cutting which I learned as an apprentice at Magnum Opus in Portland, OR. I worked there for a few years before venturing out on my own. I've been an independent contractor ever since. At times I did hair part time with 3 homeschooled kids, at times I owned a salon in the San Juan Islands. Now I have only one teen at home and am able to spend more time engaging in helping hair behave as desired. I'm sort of old school, do a lot of my typing on a typewriter and forget to take photos of my hair styles. But, I am pretty handy with a pair of scissors and a good listener.
I have a BFA in Textiles from Oregon College of Art and Craft, a Cosmetology License in Oregon from Beau Monde Academy of Cosmetology and a RYT 200 from CorePower Yoga in Portland, OR.
